Buy some gunpowder.

What, no need for gunpowder?

It's because you are not reloading your own ammo, dummy.

You should be.

So celebrate extra hard, learn to use that gunpowder: get into reloading.

For each reloading setup "out there" in the world is one more mini-factory of ammo that the leviathan state cannot track, tax, control, or eliminate.

And without ammo, guns are useless.

yeah but some of us are tapped financially. But I like your enthusiasm. When I become financially stable enough, I definitely will get into reloading. For now I just save the brass. Now if you can tell me how to reload for like 100 bucks... :D

Hmmmm - I ain't got the time to research it at this moment but I think if you go with a Lee single stage press, often used for reloading rifle cartridges, you could get started for under 100 bucks.

heck someone gave me a Lee progressive turret a few years ago.

Anyone seen that deal lately?

Check with Midway USA and Cabelas for now but some of you more sluethy types might find better deals.

Meanwhile, I must remind once more that my cast bullets from salvaged lead, and range-pickup brass, when all is said and done my costs for a box of 50 rounds of pistol ammo is at $3.50 where the same amount at the store is varies from $10 to $15.

The initial investment could set you back but even a super cheap single stage will pay for itself 100 times over in a year.

If you can't afford it think about this. Save your brass. Buy powder, primers, and maybe bullets now. Reloaders will run out of these things.
Odd ammo? Get the appropriate dies.

If you can afford RCBS starter kit, it is a good starter kit and is on sale.

Wasn't there a Lee reloading book that came with a free single stage press?

Anyone seen that?

No guns.
No ammo.
No money.

Maybe I'll fill a bag with Oxy-Acetylene, and see what happens when I add a spark.:D:D
