It isn't going to be easy. If you can, you can, in the end it comes down to numbers and personalities of the chair.

You stand a good chance of getting alternates though. The regular GOP is often not enthusiastic enough for Romney to round out the alternate slate.

update from the 7th... i'm sorry to report it was a clean sweep for the establishment. This is Eric Cantor's district... i doubt there is a more "establishment" district in America. The highligt of the day was Cantor's challenger in the primary (Floyd Bayne), giving a wonderful speech outlying Cantor's voting record. Much to the chagrin of most of the crowd.
