CBS Poll: Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, & The Man In Black

[INSERT CONSPIRACY KEANU MEME]

What if the Mainstream media was for Ron Paul?
Secretly acting as the bad guys to bring the people of the country together and unite against a common enemy?

damn, don't mind me, i've been tokin a bit too much.

This is a national poll.

"someone else" really did do better than Paul by 10%.

The story is that while the nation is looking for "someone else" Iowa and NH have clearly found their third option.

Thanks.

Some crosstabs are available, but it's missing some of the more interesting questions they introduced in the segment.

Someone Else does not represent Paul in the image. It represents the percentage of voters that desire a new candidate to get in the race.

Thank you! I was waiting for somebody to say that somebody else ≠ Ron Paul.

Lots of undecideds here I guess ... but Paul within 10 points of the lead is the best yet. I'll take it.

Yep, The corporate media are the liars and propagandists... oh NBC... imagine that

Many this Undecided Candidate is getting a lot of votes... ;) Talk About BLACKOUT

We all have to be careful as to what we put out there. While this picture might support our claims. From what I see, the poll included all candidates. These are the results of the top 3.

If you think about it, that means that those people haven't made up their minds yet. Thats a good thing. Please be careful what we post in the general public. We have enough evidence of wrong doing. We don't need to post things like this to win votes.

They use a very strange wording which results in many more undecideds than any other polling company:

q18 Which one of these candidates would you like to see the Republican Party nominate for President in 2012 - Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, or would you like to see someone else nominated?

A question wording that leaves open the option of Zombie Reagan is pretty silly. I like PPP's wording much better:

q6 If the Republican candidates for President were Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum, who would you vote for?

That doesn't excuse ignoring third place to make room for no one. Total undecideds was at 36% in the CBS poll, no candidate is above that. Why not just report none of the above won?
