CBS/NYT National Poll (9/9 - 9/13)

Need to stay above kasich. Really should maintain top 7 to ensure future debate participation.

Carly above Rand is unacceptable but she's been pimped so much by the MSM its actually pathetic she is only at 4%

How many have to drop out before they do one debate ?

Surprising to see Walker has dropped to 2, below Rand and Kaisch. I am going to take a guess that is due to FNC stopped invoking his name every 5 minutes like they have for the last few years.

All the names on the top of the list are still repeated frequently in the news cycle. Rand is the only outlier in that respect.

I hate giving Trump credit for anything, but he may have destroyed Walker.

Carson's rise isn't surprising and was bound to happen. He's likable, a good person and has no voting record. Has he had any negative coverage?

Jebby at 6% . . . and large margins or error from 3% to 6% because of the small sample size broken down by groups.

No, since no one is going to attack or say anything bad about the black guy. So he will keep getting a free pass for now. If he was white he would not even be polling.

376 people polled? What a joke. Looks like the times stopped the sampling to push the "Carson is surging" meme. I bet if they Poll 800-1000 Carson is at 15% tops

This is a terrible sample, more than 200 of these people aren't even registered to vote, and they didn't even try to sample for likely voters. This looks more like CBS news just taking a sample of their own viewers at random, counting up who is who later, and passing off what is actually them testing their influence on people who watch their network as an election poll.

The fact that everybody but Carson and Trump are within 5 points of each other is pretty telling that this whole thing is up in the air, let alone the fact that more than 60% of the respondents haven't even made up their minds yet.
