Caught On Video, Train Slams Into FedEx Truck, Slicing It In Half

I watched that this morning.

The short time after the impact and getting out of his truck the driver was busy changing his underpants. True story

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (CBS) — Unbelievable police dash cam video shows a train slamming into a FedEx truck. The impact of the train sliced the FedEx truck in half.

Automated gates and signals malfunctioned. Driverless cars, busses, trains, trucks anyone?

Having drivers here didn't help. I am showing this to my kid, telling him this is why good drivers always look for trains as they're approaching the tracks no matter where the gates are.

A Utah commuter train . . . in longer dashcam youtube the gates go down too late, to say the least

Accidents between trains and vehicles or pedestrians are fairly rare, all things considered, especially when you consider how many millions of people all across the country ride trains and subways and light rail for commuting.

But when they do, they are usually not pretty, so use caution.
