Carpooling from Houston?

I know of a few people going to SRLC from Texas, and while TX is a pretty big state, it occurred to me that Houston could be a pretty convenient place to carpool from, seeing how it is on Interstate 10 leading to New Orleans, which most people from Texas would be taking at some point anyway.

It also happens to be in Ron Paul's district (or used to be) and where Debra Medina lives (or nearby), so there's bound to be people starting their trip from there as well.
 
Have you found a ride yet? I'll be driving from San Marcos and I may have an open spot. Do you have a hotel already?
 
oh hahah, I did not take the time to read your full post and just jumped to the conclusion that you were from Houston.
