Jesus Ayala, now 20, and Jzamir Keys, now 18, stood in Clark County District Court to face sentencing.

Under a plea deal agreed to by both sides, Ayala is headed to prison for 20 years to life. Keys took his own deal and will serve 18 years to life behind bars.

In this video, I discuss the results of a viral Vegas teen hit & run homicide case out of Las Vegas where TEENS filmed & posted the homicide & laughed about the case while in court.

Actually, they got 18-Life and 20-Life.

I have no idea how parole works, but could that mean out in 9 or 10 years with "good behavior"?

Unless there is some quirk in Nevada law, or some special condition of the plea deal, or a successful sentencing appeal, etc., it's supposed to mean at least 18 (or 20) years - but possibly up to life, if parole is never granted after the minimum of 18 (or 20) years has been served.

So (absent some exception of which I am not aware) another way of describing the sentence would be: "life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 18 (or 20) years".
