Captain Parker, sign dog, bit by Rattlesnake

Give your dog some hot sauce. The hotter the better. It contains capsicum which helps you recover from many different venoms. I've seen it shock people out of heart attacks and seizures. I have a friend that recovered from a copper head bite in the wild on nothing but hot sauce. If it were my dog her mouth and the wound would get dosed several times a day. Tabasco makes a habanero variety.

/do your own research
/consult your licensed, permitted, bonded provider.

The vet is pushing IV fluids to flush out the venom -- Heck many folks just let it run its course. Dogs are pretty tough. I think they'll be OK.

And Presence, thanks for the tip --- After I get the vet bill I'll probably go out and buy some hababero tabasco sauce. <Just in case>. LoL

Thanks for the concern everybody. I keep y'all posted.

Parker is a bit insane, but real healthy. He walks around with a ball in his mouth so much that the vet says its bad for his teeth. He's a tennis ball-a-holic, he can't help himself. Everyday the dogs perform intense interval sprints while chasing balls. Except for Max, he can't run as fast so he gets discouraged. As a result, while the other two are out trying to get to the ball first, he digs big holes. As long as Maybe and Parker are going after balls, Max is digging - and I mean furiously digging. He diggs with the same drive, effort, and speed that the others chase balls with. Its pretty funny to watch. And when the balls stop, all three dogs stop. Of course Parker wants to do it one more time, no matter how many times you stop, he wants to do it again.
