Given Weigel's recent past, I find his comments and article title amazingly ironic.

Yeah, good old David. He actually at least understands the issues, but he really resents us, I think, or at least the Pauls. No one has shown ACTUAL racism in Rand's camp nor by Rand, is the point, and this is part of the CONTINUING meme to smear Rand, and us, as racist. The CJ even bringing up the CRA knowing what parts trouble people who believe in limited government, rather than some other act actually in the public issues of the day, like Obamacare, was to have it spun as racism. Overall, it isn't merely 'silly', but a major pile on with no basis. When it happens to our side its ok, because Rand isn't a real person with real family and friends and patients, and we aren't real either, of course.

I had a chance to look at the site before it went down. Wish I had saved a copy. He actually had more friends (about 369, IIRC) than Jack Conway (329). He was a friend of Jack's - one of six Tylers, two were women, so finding and outing him wasn't that hard.

He works at Patti's 1880 Settlement restaurant in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, which he calls "Patti's Hell." Obviously from how he described it, he doesn't like working there. If I was Patti's management and saw what he said, I'd invite him to look for other employment, if you know what I mean.

He's into Harry Potter, the DaVinci Code, Lord of the Rings, and Barack Obama, so he's very into unrealistic fantasies.

Must suck to be him.

I don't think we want to hurt his employment, he is a small link in the pile on we are getting dumped on us. I do think we should counter the meme that went out based on his smearing Rand and us, and show that the Conway campaign appeared to condone it, though,.

edit, meanwhile on another thread, RedStateEclectic got screen shots of part of his facebook page showing he 'liked Jack' and a bunch of other Dem orgs. http://redstateeclectic.typepad.com...ted-posing-as-racist-rand-paul-supporter.html This just goes with the video saying he was chanting 'we back Jack' with the Conway folks to show who he was with, and that they knew him.

What media outlets can we send this too? Have any KY publications/media outlets reported on this?

By the way, if you google "Tyler Collins Facebook Kentucky", one of the top pages to appear is Jack Conway's facebook page! I wonder why that is. Try it out and let me know if you got the same results!

WHAS didn't report it as a misrepresentation but as a Conway guy 'mimicking' a Rand Fan, whereas the video shows he was actually pretending to be one, not just making fun of his mental image of one. At least one liberal blog is pretending it was all one big joke and no one would think he was really a Rand supporter any more than people would think the NeanderPaul was a real neanderthal (not their words but that's the idea) that appears to be the current spin. Maybe to liberals he was eager to let them in on the joke, but I saw a bunch of tweets poking fun at how Rand Paul supporters were going after Dora the explorer that indicated he was a real Paul supporter. Also there is that screen shot of the 'migrant voice' or whatever showing they took it seriously.

I haven't seen any KY press saying this is improper action condoned by the Conway campaign (or at least workers at Fancy Farm), no.
