bump to the 'nth degree
Schiff will do a much better job educating the other senators than Rand. Rand by himself will be less effective, but Rand will be MUCH MORE effective if Schiff is there with him.
Schiff needs to work harder, his in third place in the GOP primary polls. he has time to make it up but his contributions will suffer unless he can show progress !
Also, he faces someone who has him beat by over 30 points in match ups, which is why all our eggs are in the Rand Paul basket and Hostettler in indiana who can beat the democRAT
Maybe Peter will get more attention after May 18th

Personally, raising nearly $2M can't be considered abandonment by any stretch. I'm as committed to helping Peter as ever. Will Peter get more than $3M from the grassroots during his campaign? Probably not, but $3M isn't chicken feed. Let's simply continue working and spreading the world of Peter's campaign at outlets other than RPFs and the results will care for themselves. If 10,000 people donated just $50 per QUARTER to Peter's campaign, he'd collect $500k per QUARTER which certainly isn't abandonment. Will that rate be enough to win? Probably not, but his campaign needs to find local sources of funding within the GOP establishment of Connecticut within a couple of months. Can we still help Peter in the meantime? Sure and we will.a year or two ago.. Peter Schiff as a Senate candidate was a pipe dream we all shared..
its strange how fickle people can be.
Good points.. If Rand Paul doesn't win despite being 15 points ahead weeks out and having such notable endorsements, I doubt anyone will be motivated to help Schiff in his very uphill battle against a billionaire and a popular attorney general in a liberal state.Schiff's support will go up substantially after Rand wins the primary. If Rand loses his primary, there isn't a chance in hell Schiff will get nearly as much LibertyMoney (Yeah, I coined that. And yes, the pun was intended).
Schiff's subforum is a ghost town because we don't see nearly as much from Schiff's campaign on this board as we do from Rand. Rand has staffers here, we know what is going on 24/7 and his primary is just a few weeks away. I'm sure the Schiff interest will only rise when Rand wins.
Endorsements make a difference too. I get an air from Schiff that he's going to do this "my way or the highway" kind of campaign, not seek endorsements from the establishment, and not at all smooth his message to reach voters. We don't need education campaigns, we need victorious campaigns. Just my opinion as a donor, I'd rather see someone campaign to win than campaign to educate.
