Missouri is winner take all state, based on the winner of the primary. McCain won the MO primary on super tues, so all of the delegates from MO are bound to vote for McCain in the first round at the national convention. Keep in mind, if a candidate has more than half the delegates after the first round, there is no second round.

However, the resolution to change MO to a proportionally allocated state passed in several of the counties. Unfortunately it failed 43-41 here in Boone county, but we did succeed in passing 10 of 13 amendments to the party platform.

What really excites me about this showing of truly dedicated supporters is the fact that many of us will be attending committee meetings, we will be running for local office, and this puts Missouri on the fast track to having a new GOP.
