Can someone please ask Rand Paul to talk to Ted Cruz and convince him to not support war?

I don't even truly trust Rand not to, to be honest. Politics corrupts, and its possible it could get to him too.

But Rand is the only one who I think LIKELY would not do so. I can't say the same for the others.

Ron Paul's son is incorruptible.

I think Syria proved that the US has been defanged; and we wont be starting any hot wars with any of Russia or chinas allies in the near future.

No one is perfect and everyone has downfalls. This downfall is the worst downfall possible because it will literally cost lives. Erosion of our civil liberties, fattening the pockets of the military industrial complex, destruction of our currency, and an increased hatred of our country all from this ONE downfall. The willingness to kill innocent people to protect another country is just pure evil.

I think people who are skeptical of or just don't like Rand are overly critical people in general. In my opinion.

Yeah, that post basically sums up why we shouldn't go to Iran and why I hope Cruz stays as an ally to Rand and not competition to him.

I am not a fan of Cruz but I think the title of this thread is misleading. Cruz said nothing of going to war. In the end his ties to the Bush family and neo-conservatives do worry me though. When will the Republican Party understand that you can't be in favor of war AND claim to be for smaller government? War is a bigger government program than welfare and other social spending.

Cruz is not stupid and knows that Iran will never accept zero nuclear enrichment, so when he says anything short of that requires a "preventative" US war, he's supporting war. Why does him saying "nothing of going to war" mean he's not supporting war? You can support something while claiming not to be.
