UPDATE from Ron, success of Moneybomb vital

We can't allow the lack of funds to derail the campaign.

People have been reporting that the campaign is calling asking for $650,000 in two weeks. Lucky for us, the Rise for Liberty Moneybomb is scheduled for May 17th, that places us one week into the two weeks. No doubt that success of this Moneybomb will likely determine what the campaign is able to do, between now and Tampa. There’s a good chance that this is the last opportunity to organize a Moneybomb for Ron.

Failure is not an option.

We need all hands on deck to spread the word by joining and inviting your friends and family to the Facebook event, along with pledging your support on the web site. Over the past month, we have been creating and organizing for this event and you can find all the information and promotional materials in the planning and promotion thread.

We need help with three things.

1. The campaign needs to make the event official. I've contacted the campaign HQ and Doug Wead without having heard anything back. If anyone has contacts with someone with access to the official campaign, please let them know about the event. This would fall perfectly with their goal of the $650,000 over two weeks.
   
   
2. We need any webmasters with Paul-related web sites to make use of website widget. This widget has a call to action after pledging and a simple Facebook like button for folks who don't want to pledge. You'll find a preview and the code you'll need to embed it easily in the Rise for Liberty website widget thread. If you can take the time to contact any websites you know, that would be a huge benefit. I've tried to get it on RPF and haven't had any success.
   
   
3. Lastly, we need people to promote. We have a hand full of people dedicating a lot of time organizing and promoting this event, but ultimately we need more numbers. It's vital that you join and share the event on Facebook, along with pledging your support on the website.

The success of this event, and the entire campaign, relies on you.

Thanks for trying to balance it, I don't know who would be against trying to raise money for Ron.

I haven't seen a list related to websites. I did send a letter to over 100 pro-Paul Facebook pages.

But, getting a website list with email addresses would be great.

I can't count how many times I've seen even today people ask when the next Money Bomb is. We need to make it so that every supporter who checks Facebook, Twitter, and Ron Paul related websites is hit in the face with Money Bomb info.

Schedule it for May 17th and have Paul answer questions and ask for our support.

Yes, I love that, would be huge. I was just looking through the list posted from http://www.ronpauldirectory.com/links-page.html and saw the Money Bomb Radio link http://ronpaul2012.com/radio/ . I had never heard of a Money Bomb at that time so I didn't know about it, but that sounds like kind of the same thing, and the campaign hosted it on their site. If they could do all of that they could do a quick video stream.

I put the video in a thread on the Daily Paul and included a link to the Money Bomb thread I have there. It seems to be getting some attention so far so maybe we'll see something from that.
