Campaign needs the money NOW, not the next money bomb

Maybe the effort should be focused on raising 6.6 million BY the 16th. It sounds like the campaign is a little short on cash. Everyone donate now and spread the word!

Then explain to me why there still isn't a donation app on their Facebook.

Explain to me why we didn't get an Iowa ticker. We even sent them suggestions to the campaign site. They have priorities. This needs to be one.

why doesnt the campaign buy the airtime and go into debt and pay off the debts with the moneybomb money. plus theyll have leftover money.

campaign is not going into debt. Period. Doesn't matter why, it's just how it is.

Secondly, they have bought 2 weeks of airtime so they need money to fund the next two weeks now.

Most important point: Dec 16th is too late, as we have been telling people for weeks.

Why do people keep asking for an official ticker? There's places you can check for the amount raised since yesterday, etc.

Should somebody wanting to learn more about Ron Paul see that Ron Paul just wants your money?

I would like to know where to check the figures you mention. Then I won't need a ticker. :)

2-300,000 people visit his site a month. Many of don't visit here. If they see a ticker, it encourages them to donate, and gives us a goal.

Yep. Been requesting it for a while.

Frankly, people shouldn't have been saving their money for Dec 16th. We knew we needed money urgently weeks ago. I repeat: SCREW THE MONEYBOMB.

Agreed. I dont know how many times I have to say it? Money bomb fatigue! The novelty has long since worn off. I do my $5 Fridays and $10 Tuesdays religiously. Honestly, its all I can do. I know it is not a whole lot, but at least it keeps money trickling in. I think a constant stream of money going in, is far more important then money bombs, that are less then stellar and take days to reach what we used to get in a few hours.

I dont recall moneybombs in '07 needed to be extended through a weekend etc...

The campaign needs the money sooner. They said it themselves. If you don't want to help, leave this thread.

You sir, have no sense of reality. You need to understand that only a small faction of Ron Paul supporters visit any Ron Paul dedicated website. Most are not overly active and need to be targeted specifically to get them to donate. That is what a moneybomb does. It gives us time to market the concept of donating to the campaign.

"Blah Blah Blah" is all I read in your reply. Do you get it? The campaign needs it NOW. So let's do what it takes to get them money NOW. How hard is that to understand?

A ticker would certainly help, but we can all do our part to get them at least a portion of what they need NOW.

Simple reality is they need money now. Stop discouraging activity that the campaign has requested.
