We need the campaign to leave up the ticker until at least the Iowa caucus. Tomorrow and the next few weeks have the potential to bring in huge funds with Ron Paul's continued rise. However, the having the ticker up will boost this substantially.

I agree.. No reason to take it down... just stop calling it a moneybomb, and change the goal numbers (change it to 6 million and it can be bumped up as we meet each goal). And, as you said, it adds some motivation for people to donate.

Edit: the campaign does read the forums, and I hope they see this.

Yeah but now they should put out a press release, officially announcing the Tea Party drive raised $4 mil from XX donors....

Absolutely, and they should tie in the new poll showing him 1st in Iowa.

I don't think this is a good idea. The ticker will lose it's emotional impact if they keep it up too long.

There was a 24/7 donation ticker up during the whole 2008 campaign. Everybody loved it. There were even some crazy folks donating to try to round the donation amount, just for the fun of it :)

Agreed, How about X Million To Win SC?

PS. Please drop as much money as needed to secure Iowa and NH. Even if that means everything you just raised. Winning Iowa will more than replenish the war chest for SC and beyond. Winning NH will generate enough money to dominate the rest of the election. From then on it is stockpiling money to take on Obama.

I think they just need to drop the ticker come morning time (7 or 8 A.M.).

Let's regroup and refocus. We reached our goal of $4 million in three days. Let's move along, and start saving up for more donations.
