I live in a state where running as an inde candidate is not possible.. deadlines.. also write ins won't be counted. Which stated are actually possibilities here?
 
I think Pennsylvania is one if I'm not mistaken. I'm limited with what I can do on my Android but I'm all for this mission once I get home. I'm doing a little vacationing first - should be home by the 3rd or so.
 
We need to do a lot of educating to get this to work or at least make a big upset for the GOP. I am not even sure of how to go about writing in a candidate in my state. (NY) How is it done on the electronic machines?

only if ron paul approves of this but it will be impossible to win and you guys and girls are dreaming. If ron paul runs indy or joins a ticket. Then i am in. write-in campaign is ron paulers dreaming a dream. If ron paul endorses this i am 100% in, I highly doubt. colorado write-ins are not even an option. they will never count write-ins in colorado unless you certified ron paul back in july. write-in campaign is a joke and a waste. more circle jerking by ron paulers.

Basically Maine electoral college delegates are proportional and are awarded 1 delegate for congressional district.

It is Very Very Possible with just a handful of Main Delegates we could block Romney and Obama!

That would make History !! and Promote Liberty and "we the people" more than anything in our lifetime !

and constitutionally YES YOU CAN !! The 2 Party system wants you to think you can't !
a Write in for a GOP or DEM Primary is a private club vote.

The General Election Has Nothing to do with parties!

CROSS POST - What if we did this KONY2012 style? I'm sure you're familiar with the KONY2012 thing this past spring. We could sort of parody it but make it PAUL2012 or WRITE-IN2012 in order to keep it more generic and interesting at the outset.

There would have to be a short film, around 20 minutes that people could link to and pass around. If we could raise the money to get is started, then we could also sell 'political action' kits just like the kony people did; with signs, stickers and bracelets. The video would need to go 'viral' just as the kony video did, and to do so it would have to be posted somewhere other than Youtube, as we all know by the resetting of the view-counts and disappearing videos this past year, they are NOT on our side.

The video would have to focus initially on the corruption of the other two parties, to wake people up and get them mad...then the second half could be about Ron Paul (we all know there are some amazing videos out there already) and finishing with the information on the political action kits and the plan to write in and TAKE THE POWER BACK. That would need to be the biggest theme there, is the people taking the power back, and RP (or any other write-in peopel want) simply being the means by which we do it.

We'd do this knowing that winning the election would be an extreme long-shot, but it would more importantly be a revolution of sorts for we the people as voters. If it doesn't result in a change it would at least be a catalyst...

Thoughts? We'd need a website to get organized on. And we'd need a good, experienced filmmaker who could work fast. It would all come down to the video. It would have to be nothing short of shock and awe. And a small team of dedicated organizers at least to start out.

We have several youtube video's that document the cheating. Add to this a chart of how Obama and Romney are basically identical and call for demonstrations on the dates of the debates. Ideally country wide or worldwide. Definitely at the debate sites. Listings of the debates are in this thread:

It would be pretty awesome if there were 44+ demonstrations worldwide to protest the 2 party system and what's going on in this country... We can contact all of their organizers and supporters. There is also Anonymous and the tea party. Anti-war groups, pro-pot groups, etc. If we are to stand any chance of winning or striking a serious blow, we will need to form coalitions with people we don't necessarily agree with on everything.

Isn't long shot what this movement started on? Yes, it's a long shot but voting for the (there is no lesser than here) evils provided on this year's ballot is not an option for me. I'm planning on writing in Dr Paul, even though my state has regs as to who can be recognised as a write in by filing date. Might anyone know the actual tally of electors needed to make this happen.. 10? 20?

Possibly less than 10 this year.

They were saying florida was gonna be the deciding state , So if we Got most of Maine (which Should be easy in light of what's happened) and pick one or 2 spots in a few other states we could def show not just the GOP the have royally Screwed the pooch, but it could end up creating a True 3rd party once the masses realize they don't have to buy into the 2 party BS

We have a Lot of De-Programming to do Starting Here in the forums!
