Awesome! I suggest that we have a second launching after the other banner is on the blimp. We could plan the event so that it can be rolled out of the hanger in all its glory. A date certain could be announced for the second launch in plenty of time for spectators to get to the site. We could invite anybody and everbody for the historic occasion. We could have a marching band playing patriotic music. We could have a tailgate party and make it into a festive occasion with flags flying, etc. etc. This is history in the making and should be treated as such. If you like the idea please pass it on.

I believe that will be Monday morning according to current plans.

Blimp in Raleigh

We chased the blimp through downtown Raleigh and on to I-40 where we finally caught up with it long enough to take some nice pictures.

The action shot while flying down I-40. This makes it look like the blimp is pretty fast - and it is. We had a hard time keeping up with it until we got on the open highway.

Would have posted these earlier, but I've been watching Appalachian State dominate the championship game. Three time champs! Today has been awesome.

Chester Airport Pictures

We caught up to the blimp that first night after the inaugural 10 hour flight. It was moored at the Chester, SC airport. I took my daughter to see what grassroots support was all about!!!
