The funniest part is those of us from the 80's and 90's, were supporting libertarians while most of the "07-08" crowd were still in diapers.

Its really not about "Who has been around longer", please, get over yourself and your ego.

I find it equally pathetic when I see "1000+ posts or more only please" type threads.

I think the one downfall of the RP'ers is that too many are in the 18-30 demographic and sit on the computer all day on forums and youtube.com so proud of how many posts they have or when they joined a forum.

Unite, don't divide.

I don't think that was the intent of his post, I think that it was meant to ignite some competition (nothing wrong with that)

As far as the 1000+ post threads that were popping up a few months ago, I did think those were a bit ridiculous. However there were a lot of new people around and a few people trolling so some of the members got pissy. Cooler heads should have prevailed, but oh well.

And when Ron ran in '88, I was indeed in diapers. Probably huggies, I don't know. You'll have to ask my mom if you are really interested. PM me for contact info. Unless you were previously a coach for Penn State.

just do the most effective things which need to be done to win or have a good result in the early states. easiest and most effective seems to be phone from home. identify the likey RP supporters and get them to vote. apart from that go door to door, or go to a nearby mall/market/sports complex/church in small groups and talk to people.

Saw John Stossel on campus in september 07 (a CR event) and i agreed with everything he said. then the students for Ron Paul guy asked if he liked rp for prez and he said yes. so i checked it out... i like the organization this time. last time was a different mission: get ron paul to be a household name.
