caller just mentioned Ron Paul on Rush Limbaughs show

i heard that call. Part of Jason Lewis' response was that we need an conservative idealogue to run for President. So, I called, and said I wanted to respond to that statement. And, I kind of spilled the beans to the screener and mentioned Ron Paul and had a short discussion with him and basically he agreed that Ron Paul on everything except foreign policy. We have to fix this.

Anyway, I went on to say that Jason Lewis has been basically airing a 3 hour commercial for Ron Paul and reading right off the platform. The screener got a kick out of that.

We have to convince more conservatives that we are strong on defense.
 
he was asking if the goldwater and reagan era was over. someone slap some ron paul into this guy.

Then you should all be talking about what you think the Military should be getting as far as funds to upgrade our old weapon systems like the F-15's(40% non-operational currently due to a recent crash and the findings by Boeing). F-16's(F-35 Lightning is coming online and will need continued funding). The New Tankers to replace the KC-135's that have been around since the 50's is also a hot topic. There are many more but I know you could win over many people by finding Ron's position on these issues and telling people. It is important to me being an Aviator in the Air Force on the C-17 in which there is some debate as to how many we need and how many we get. This is very important and often overlooked.

about 2-3 mins in here he says we should go vote for Ron Paul at the Minnesota Caucuses. We in MN have been trying to get him to admit he's a closet supporter that will come out one of these days LOL

Something to bring up to people is that if you added 23million illegal immigrants into our already busted health care system, you'd have a catostrophic failure. We know that Huckabee supported illegals in his state, McCain can't be trusted to not give them amnesty,and Romeny had the illegals working for him! Only RP can be trusted to not give amnesty to the illegals. Not only can we not afford them on the welfare and healtcare rolls, the healthcare system just doesn't have enough doctors, nurses, and support staff to handle them. Think about that on top of the nationalized health care, that could add another 40 million people into an already broke system above and beyond the 23 million illegals!
 
Healthcare Review from a Healthcare Executive - My stepdad was a lifetime Hospital System president until he retired a couple years ago. We started talking politics and his statement was:

"Our healthcare is so expensive and the hospitals have so many issues because of government mandadted service to people without healthcare. This is why we need government to mandate healthcare or provide it"

I kid you NOT. We need the people who BROKE the system to try to fix it??? I suspect he voted McCain last week. Sad, but, he KNEW what was broken and still though the Federal Government was the place to fix it.
 
When these guys are talking about goldwater, ask them who goldwater jr. supports. if they don't know, tell them!
