Call the Tennessean night editor RIGHT NOW and demand a correction to run in tomorrow's paper. We only have a couple of hours before their deadline.

The gentleman's name is Jerry Manly and he is in charge tonight at the Tennessean. He will tell you he doesn't have the authority to run a correction, however please demand that he get on the phone and obtain that authority. Remember to be polite and courteous as our actions represent Ron Paul.

615-259-8000 is the main number (go to the news department)

After you have spoken with him ask to be put through to John Gibson (extension 8025) who is the editor in charge of the editorial section. He will not be in his office until Monday but we can leave him voicemail.

IF WE DON'T ACT RIGHT NOW millions of Tennesseans may not ever get to read about Ron Paul. This is our last shot.

Thanks for the info

I just left a message for John...let's hope they run a correction.

From members of our local meetup:

"I called Jerry Manly and he was rather rude. He asked if I had been told what to say. He told me to call back tomorrow and he did not like it when I mentioned that would be after tomorrow's issue was already published. He must be feeling the heat since he was so rude."

and

"The operator would not put through my call to Jerry Manly, when she found out I was calling about Ron Paul. She did connect me to John Gibson's voice mail. I have sent an e-mail to Jerry Manly [email protected] and John Gibson [email protected]. I just wonder how many e-mails they typically get on one topic and how many they are getting on this."

Mr. Manley is now not accepting calls, they are trying to route us to a Mr. Andrew Underwood. I said I would wait for him to get off the phone but the nice secretary then said he is unavailable and I would have to leave a message.

If there was 10 candidates and paul was polling low it would make sense, but with 4 guys left, theres no excuse to exclude paul, hes not even doing bad!

I sent these folks an email ...

Jerry Manly [email protected] and John Gibson [email protected].

Here is a list of E-Mails to paste into the BCC: field of your emails to them:

Be sure to use BCC so it will look like each mail is individual and not a form letter.
Be polite and DEMAND that Ron Paul be included and that equal space be devoted
in a reprint or whatever. Make sure to include ALL those emails! Let's let the whole
staff down there know what's going on and our minds on the topic!

We want our country back!

Silverman:
You blacklisted Congressman Dr. Ron Paul TWICE in the same election cycle!!! (see http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=23474&highlight=newspaper )

Are you going to claim internal incompetence like last time, or was this an outright biased attempt at swaying the results of the election?

Your daily publication is pathetic and I wouldn't use it for toilet paper even if it came down to a choice of that or tree bark!

Email list update

I have sent an e-mail to Jerry Manly [email protected] and John Gibson [email protected]. I just wonder how many e-mails they typically get on one topic and how many they are getting on this."

My email came back rejected for [email protected] and [email protected] (from BCC list). These two are no longer accepting messages from people who aren't in their address book.

Be sure and use the BCC list and keep sending to [email protected], his works.

Response from Mark Silverman:

I apologize for the omission.

The candidates' position grid we published was provided by one of our wire services. It omitted Dr. Paul. We should have caught the omission but we did not. There's no excuse on our part -- but that's what happened.

Response from Mark Silverman:

Oh Yes... The typical... OVERSIGHT response!

I did a TRACEROUTE on their emails... it goes to the GANNETT MAIL SERVERS! The Tennessean Newspaper is controlled by GANNETT MEDIA... Who's connected with GANNET MEDIA which seems to relate to deals, etc?

BINGO... Manchurian MITT ROMNEY and BAIN Capitial LLC!!!
