Cain: So I Was Wrong About The Major Economic Crises. What Of It?

If his people are so great, maybe they should be running for president and not them.

Perhaps more important is how this shows the ineptitude of the Federal Reserve's decision-makers.

Cain reminded me of McCain when Paul asked him about the Plunge Protection Team (Working Group). Wait... Cain... McCain.... coincidence?!

Mr. Cain you say there is a deficiency of leadership in the White House. My question to you sir "Do you have any,"?

/snark

Honestly, this man is such a hypocrite. He leads on nothing -- Oh, I have advisors, Generals, I'll let you know when I get elected, blah de blah de blah. Go away.

PS: His great economic advisor doesn't even have a bachelors in Economics. (Not that, that means a whole lot, but...this guy is no Henry Hazlitt)

He's so condescending and arrogant... and stupid to boot. How do people like this guy? I don't get it.

Precisely. If Cain's answer is "I'll have people telling me what to do", shouldn't those advisors be running for President and not Cain?!

The guy is essentially admitting that he's an empty suit.

Because he speaks the language of the general population, stupideeze. These are the people that are glued to the TV watching Jersey Shore, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars, never having read a book in their life. 9-9-9, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!!12!%!6

It is like 911.. There is a reason they use 911 for the police, people find it easy to remember short, catchy phrases or series of numbers. 9-9-9 is just that and nothing more. People with no knowledge of the Tax system, or who do no research on it, are more than likely to be swayed. 911...999...911...999

Mr Cain is like a mean teacher or boss (no nonsense, get a job) dude. Well Mr.Cain, I say to you, I don't take the "I didn't know" as an answer. I had mean teachers that said that all the time. To bad! Got Bachmann saying "I didn't know, I didn't get a chance to read the patriot act" BS, you still went with it!

I feel like going to a Cain rally with a sign that says "Herman Cain's Advisors 2012". Unfortunately they're not smart enough to understand the subtle sarcasm.

In the debate he said he was here for 9-9-9.

So he's here to tax you.

That's his big plan? Define how he's going to tax you?

But the Tea Party people know better, they know that for the first 100 years there was a federal surplus and NO DIRECT TAXES on the People, who are sovereign, above the government, creators of the government, the boss, and thus can't be taxed directly.

Why wasn't any of that info in the text books in high school?

Must...restrain...conspiratorial...side@#!

I'm a bit worried about Cain and his army of the uninformed. They seem to be multiplying like gerbils. I know we're all on the "trend of the week" kick...but these people seem like a dangerously moronic hive-mind:

I am Locutus of Cain. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

Perhaps the answer is what finally destroyed the Borg in Star Trek: Have one become aware of his or her independence.

Nah... Cain won't survive sounding this stupid on the economy. As long as we strike while the iron is hot we should be able to unseat him.

People have the economy as #1 on their agenda and it will make or break Paul's run (no matter how much "national security conservatism" gets pushed by the MSM.)

Cain is a liar (again).

His defense, to why he didn't see the economic collapse coming:
When I wrote those papers I was only responding to reports that I like everybody else was getting through the media - those kind of public reports.

Here's a quote from one of "those papers":
As a reminder, we still have not had a recession since 2001, using the standard definition of a recession as two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth. But don't tell the Democrats and the mainstream media. You might disrupt their imaginary recession.
