"Cain comes in 2nd to Paul in straw poll of social conservatives; Santorum places 3rd"

Out of all of the articles regarding Paul's win that I've read so far, this gem from a CNN piece has to be my favorite:

"Two front-runners, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, placed fourth and sixth respectively."

That's not the title of the article (it's titled: 'Ron Paul wins Values Voter straw poll'), rather a sentence toward the end. I do give props to CNN for writing a decent article, aside from that sentence, though!

I kinda like that sentence. It shows how ridiculous the media sounds with their stupid "frontrunner" labels.

Oh, this excerpt from the LA Times article is a beauty as well!

"The summit drew 3,406 registered attendees, including about 600 who arrived Saturday morning as Paul was scheduled to speak. There were a number of people that left after Ron Paul spoke,” Perkins said at a news conference after the results were announced"

Then it goes on to conclude with, "Still, chants of 'Ron Paul, Ron Paul' filled the ballroom of the Omni Shoreham Hotel when the results were announced. Paul won 732 votes of 1,983 cast."

So which is it, Mr. Perkins and media? Did Paul's campaign/supporters stack the deck and all leave right after Paul spoke, or might it be possible that there were a significant number of voters in the crowd who Paul helped sway in his direction as he gave his brilliant speech?

Ron has been running against the media, not a candidate. We need to name the enemy, declare war, and win. We need a Ron Paul ad that ties this era's media phenomenon to propaganda machines of the past: Hitler's, Stalin's, Mussolini's. That, visually, ought to do the trick.

Bingo. First prize to RIPLEYMOM (imo of course).

If I could +rep this, I would!
