Report: Two Found Dead at Brentwood Mansion Belonging to Rob Reiner

14 Dec 2025

Two people were reportedly found dead at a mansion in Brentwood belonging to actor-director Rob Reiner on Sunday.

The bodies have not yet been publicly identified, but NBC Los Angeles said the ages were 78 and 68 years old – Reiner is 78 while his wife, Michele, is reportedly 68.

Two people were found dead Sunday afternoon inside a Brentwood home owned by director and actor Rob Reiner, multiple law enforcement sources told NBCLA.

The LA Fire Department said a man and a woman were found deceased inside, approximately 78 and 68 years old.

The LAPD Robbery Homicide Division have reportedly been assigned to the case and several LAPD officials said they could not share any more information at this time.

A large police presence was seen swarming the home on Sunday evening.

“Neighbors said Reiner and his wife live in the home, and property records indicate they own the home,” noted NBC Los Angeles.

This is developing story. Check back for further updates.

Looks like their son was responsible for their deaths and is now in custody.

Wait -- Meathead is dead meat? I don't know how he abused that boy, but he obviously turned it up to eleven.

The kid should have waited for all Rob's jabs to kill him.

Prayers for Carl Reiner. No parent should have to attend his own child's funeral.

What evidence do you have that Rob abused his son? The only evidence I've seen is that his son abused drugs. From B4L's link:

In a 2016 interview with PEOPLE, Nick spoke about his years-long struggle with drug addiction, which began in his early teens and eventually left him living on the streets. He said he cycled in and out of rehab beginning around age 15, but as his addiction escalated, he drifted farther from home and spent significant stretches homeless in multiple states.

Based on that it sounds like a junkie depearate for money and his parents decided to deny it out of "tough love" so he killed them. I could be wrong.

Meanwhile I'll post a scene out of one of his best movies. This seems very appropriate at a time when a top admiral seems guilty of murder on the high seas at the behest of the POTUS.

And on a lighter note, another great Rob Reiner movie.

Maybe you helped run Rob Reiner's Twitter account

So I noticed that Trump's fat, and that makes you assume that means I belong to the Other [sic] Party? In spite of years of evidence like this?

How insanely narrow minded of you.

Take it from a lifelong Libertarian Party voter. We're equally contemptuous of both you herds of morons.

Here's a sentience test, Tater. Who called Rob Reiner Meathead in post number five of this very thread? Does that sound like something the cowriter of his Twits would do? Really, Tater?

Why do you so enjoy making an ass of yourself?

Maybe you helped run Rob Reiner's Twitter account, kindred spirits you two. Why would Trump respond this way? Exhibit A:

What does ANY of that have to do with the fact that Rob Reiner was murdered by his drug addicted son? Unless you're arguing that Nick Reiner was MAGA in which case you're arguing that being MAGA makes you a homicidal maniac. Come to think of it......January 6th kind of proves your point if that's what you're saying.

If loving America makes you a homicidal maniac then the people who don't like America should lock themselves in a prison away from the people who do like America.

These types of things happen because of failures in their community to keep people safe.

Since liberal government luxury beliefs have allowed for unreasonable and unrelenting policies that have destroyed communities these people are just in a long line of the list of dead people who have died from liberal luxury beliefs.

Rob being so bombastically anti Trump makes it make sense.

Trump has been running on and changing the culture to bring our country back from the brink of death from the liberal establishment and the liberal psychopaths that created the system that caused that community to fail so badly.

Boo hoo trump said mean words again so Massie has to virtue signal to distract from his own failures. Trump simply acknowledged the very public feud with Rob and very politely said rest in peace.

Your reading comprehension sucks! This is how someone acknowledges public differences while politely saying rest in peace. Look at what Rob Reiner said about Charlie Kirk. Rob Reiner was a class act!

What Rob Reiner said about Charlie Kirk

In the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk's death in September, many high-profile MAGA influencers suggested they wouldn't mock or celebrate the untimely death of a political opponent.

  • Trump and White House officials also condemned those who spoke ill of Kirk. Thousands were flagged online at the time for purportedly celebrating Kirk's death.
  • Yet Trump seized the chance to mock Reiner in death Monday — a contradiction some critics seized on. Others compared how Reiner responded to Kirk's death.
Flashback: Reiner spoke of Kirk's death in September, telling Piers Morgan on his show "Uncensored" that videos of Kirk's death were "absolute horror."

  • "I unfortunately saw the video of it," he said. "It's beyond belief what happened to him."
  • The attack "should never happen to anybody," he added.
Reiner also told Morgan: "I don't care what your political beliefs are. That's not acceptable. That's not a solution to solving problems."

  • He said that Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk, made the right comments at his memorial service by forgiving the assassin.

  • "I'm Jewish but I believe in the teachings of Jesus and I believe in 'do unto others' and I believe in forgiveness and what she said to me was beautiful. She forgave his assassin. And I think that is admirable."
