I know it's a joke, but that says a lot about society where what marines are EXPECTED to do is not enough to drive someone away from it, but this is.

I think a lot of people are forgetting about the Libertarian Perspective of Homosexuality. Who gives a shit? If it is not directly affecting you in some way shape or form, then it isnt anyone elses business. If a man commits a Murder, it is beyond your rights to hold that person accountable, except in a Court of Law. The LAW hold that person accused of Murder responsible. Anything else is Vigilantism, Democratic, and that is nothing short of Mob Rule.

So it is just fine that the law says your kids will be taught that homosexual behavior is a Healthy life style. Sorry I don't buy that. Consenting adults, I have no problem. As long as they don't use government to push it.

It's easy to spot the racists, too. While it's possible to debate policy with them, or the misogynists, it ultimately makes me feel better when people are just open about their dislikes and disagreements. Wouldn't you rather know who has an automatic reaction to certain things, so that you can keep away and you can both lead better lives for it?

Government keeps bundling us all together. I'm all for people who're disgusted by me being allowed to say so and encouraged to go away lol

Well if words and their pesky definitions are frustrating to you then just use your own definition rather than a word that people can supposedly justify their way out of. I know gay people. I do not hate them or fear them. They usually aren't who I become close friends with because we usually don't share similar values, which is what friendships are based on for me. I'm entirely impartial towards people who are homosexual, just like I am impartial towards people who have pre-marital sex, or who are atheists or alcoholics for that matter. All of these lifestyles or beliefs contradict my values and are wrong according to what I believe but I certainly don't hate other people who disagree with me. Why is it so hard for people who disagree with me to be just as tolerant towards my values and lifestyle as they want people to be towards theirs? I don't go around insulting gays or ridiculing them. I'm not asking anyone to believe what I believe or approve of my lifestyle or beliefs. Of course someone will say that those things I mentioned are choices and homosexuality is not a choice. Well that's a whole different discussion which has already taken place here at length. Regardless of whether it stems from nature or nurture (or both, like alcoholism), the fact remains that I don't consider anyone less than human or treat anyone with hatred. Feelings of hatred are of course legal and personal discrimination ought to of course be legal, but that's not what this whole thread has been about. No one had proposed using any type of force. However you and others have been quick to accuse many people on this forum of hatred, intolerance, and malicious intent towards gays based on nothing other than the fact that they disagree personally with homosexuality as a lifestyle or disagree with you on the origins of said behavior.

Yahoo ran a story this past year on identical twins where one was straight and one was a homosexual. The scientist who was studying identical twins was talking about how this has puzzled the scientific community.

That's the beauty of modern day "science" and the modern fraud of psychology that people have more faith in "gay genes" which can't be explained, or the fact that when psychologists had a bit more common sense homosexuality was considered a mental disorder until the gay lobby changed their view.

History has shown that if the people in a society go crazy and immoral the only thing left to attack is morals because a debase people is easy to control.

You expect tolerance and even acceptance of your view points (such as that homosexuality is normal and must be embraced), but you refuse to tolerate people who personally do not condone homosexuality and smear them as bigots.
