Additionally, I doubt very much that she would "endorse" any candidate publicly before the nomination. She stated publicly in November that she would not.
That's what I've heard as well.

The regular C-SPAN announcer, commented on C-SPAN2 at 12:05EST that Nancy Reagan will be endorsing John McCain for President this afternoon PST.
RON PAUL is the one man that stood up and backed RONNY and NANCY, campaigning together and she plays the REPUBLICAN INNER-CIRCLE MACHINE game? John McCain was a piece of Toilet paper to Ronald Reagan and didn't do anything for REAGAN. That's why McCain had to say, "I was a ground troop for Ronald Regan supporting him."
I wonder what deal Nancy got? More MONEY for the REAGAN LIBRARY?
Maybe a POMP and CEREMONIAL BURIAL for NANCY when she kicks the bucket?
Let's keep some perspective. Ronald Reagan supported Paul in NINETEEN SEVENTY EIGHT- 1978.
HELLO PEOPLE. You may have heard that in 1988 Ron Paul ran against Reagan's VP and called Reagan a failure?
Reagan did NOT support Ron Paul in 1996. One of his aides ( or someone working for Reagan, don't remember exactly) went out of his way in 1996 to say that Reagan was not endorsing Ron Paul against that former Democrat. The entire Republican establishment backed a Democrats versus Ron Paul in 1996.
Maybe Reagan kinda "sat it out" ( he was no longer in any office) plus had Alzheimers at the time. Anyway, it was long long ago that reagan and Paul supported each other.
Plus Paul does NOT have that unconditional love/worship of Ronald Reagan that all Republicans have. They agreed on many things, but not all.
If they were on such great terms at the time, why did Ron Paul leave the Republican party in 1985 and run against Reagan's VP/successor in 1988? It wasnt all about George Bush. A lot of it was issues with Reagan.
While Ron Paul is the candidate that best supports Reagan's rhetoric, in no way is he some obvious successor that should expect unconditional support from Ronald reagans wife.
The people with this naive and uninformed reaction are just more example of my fellow Ron Paul supporters that have NO perspective of reality- either how things actually are or how things work.
I think you mean Ron Jr is the liberal.
Nancy Reagan is NOT Ronald Reagan.
