Buzzfeed hit piece on Rand staff: "Why Rand Paul Lost"

LOL.. so youre saying the fathers of trotskyism wanted sound borders? leo strauss and irving kristol wanted very limited immigration? if you really believe that, you are the most naive person on this board.
Neoconservatism came out of infiltrating Democrats. Just because it is "right-communism" doesn't make it a direct clone of Trotskyism. Irving Kristol was one of the handful of loudmouths I mentioned above. I will say it again, the core of neoconservatism has mostly to do with Israel, foreign policy, and domestic spending. They are indeed globalists, but many of their number want to erase national sovereignty prior to opening the immigration floodgates.

You can call me "naive" all you want, but it doesn't make it so. I have served in public office side-by side with actual neocons. All your bluster is just a tempest in a teapot.

SEVERE BACKSLIDING ON AMNESTY

In his book, Dr. Paul sounds very much like supporters of Comprehensive Amnesty measures by talking about the impossibility of sending back home 11 million illegal aliens.

Like most amnesty supporters who say they oppose "amnesty," Dr. Paul seems to buy the false choice between "legalization" or mass deportation. Since he says mass deportation isn't possible, he feels he has to choose some kind of legalization.

He fails to support Attrition Through Enforcement, which is the middle way supported by most anti-amnesty Members of Congress.

He would limit the legalization by perhaps not allowing the illegal aliens to ever be citizens or to vote. But they still would get to stay in the U.S. and to keep their U.S. jobs, while millions of Americans who want the jobs would have to stay unemployed.

"It could be argued that (this system) may well allow some immigrants who come here illegally a beneficial status without automatic citizenship or tax-supported benefits -- a much better option than deportation," Rep. Paul writes on page 156.

Ah. I see. You support the mark of the beast. (E-verify and a national ID card). Ron Paul is against a national ID card.

So therefore you support Trump?

...who is the opposite of Ron on every issue?

Like WHAT?

Being pro bank bailouts? Pro Fed? Pro auto bailouts? Pro socialized medicine? Pro welfare? Pro police state?

I'll be voting third party, or not voting at all.

None of the viable candidate, in either party, are worth supporting.

What are the policy difference between the two?

Both support socialized medicine.

Both supported the bailouts.

Neither wants to cut federal spending.

Both are for NSA spying and indefinite detention.

Both are for partial birth abortion.

Both are soft on immigration.

Both are for gun control.

Both were registered Democrats for most of their lives.

Both helped Democrats raise huge amounts of money.

They're both involved with organized crime.

...and they're long time personal friends; Bill encouraged Trump to run FFS.

How stupid can you be?

did you miss last month? regarding trump on bill? so who is stupid? LOL

what i see concerning cops and blacks is the media lying during initial reports and then a mob mentality defines the narrative after that. are cops wrong sometimes? yes.. but they kill more whites than blacks. please dear God tell me you didn't fall for the whole trayvon martin scam? i exposed that day one of coming across it. posting all the pics of a 12 yr old and interviewing a bunch of women that swore they heard a young boy screaming for his life. LOL that lil boy screaming turned out to be zimmerman as his head was being pounded into the cement.

Ummm...are you stupid or just really really stupid? I'm the one that made the point about cops killing whites and gave you the picture. You thought that white young man with a Wii controller that got gunned down by cops was Trayvon Martin?

Neither Trump nor Cruz want us to go to war with Russia over Syria. That makes both somewhat better than Hillary. The correct comparison is Bernie Sanders. Sanders supports socialist economics and Trump supports fascist economics but neither is gunning for war with Russia.

debatable- he wanted to open a trump towers there in 1987 and didn't because of all the red tape and corruption in the soviet union. He is the type to hold vendettas (if someone screws you screw them back harder), his motto is an eye for two eyes. Just like when Jeb didn't let him have casinos in Florida.. here is the only comparison
They are both promising stuff thats basically a pyrmaid scheme, something for free. Trump says that he is going to fix immigration and jobs and mexico and china is going to pay for it he even says he is going to fix terrorism but Russia will pay for it, and Sanders is promising free everything and the rich people are going to pay for it, but the people that fall for this can't do that math that we can't possible pay for all of that and stay the number one super power in the world(which is the source of our wealth)

You're right, that totally negates all the other facts.

Nevermind Trump's positions on, you know, issues, or his decades-long association with the Democrats in general and the Clintons in particular.

He, now a GOP candidate, who would surely have no reason to pander to GOP voters at this moment, took an easy personal shot at a Democrat!

...Well, by George, he must be a true conservative!

e-verify? what are you smoking? why not say the drivers license is the mark of the beast?

What am I smoking? Liberty. And there is a move to turn the drivers license into an rfid chip enabled national ID card. But what makes this all "beast like" is that the mark of the beast is when you cannot buy or sell without having special permission from the government. A national ID card, which eventually will be an international ID card, is a step in that direction. Ron Paul's position on immigration is to attack it be shrinking the power of the federal government. You and the immigration zealots seek to grow the power of the federal government. Shrinking the federal government means cutting off welfare to illegal immigrants. It's called "de-magnetization". Surely you are against welfare going to illegal aliens right? In fact welfare shouldn't go to immigrants at all. We should get rid of it period but you have to start somewhere.

so leo strauss was a strong nationalist? did you work with him? and opening the flood gates is what helps them destroy our sovereignty. and working side by side with low level neocons is not what we are talking about.. we are talking the top dogs like strauss chertoff and the pnac gang. if you are telling me you worked with the bush admin pnac gang then by all means type away. but i know for a fact they hate our guts and work to flood us with immigration. so good luck buddy.

and they self labeled themselves trotskyites and neocons but then slander us for using the terms. did you see david brooks's glee last week when trump didnt win? i thought he was watching the end of superbowl. i wonder why he doesnt like trump so much?

Ummmm....huh? So Trump wants to go to war with Russia because the Soviet Union, which no longer exists, wouldn't let him build a high rise? Ummm...okay. Let me rephrase this then. I have never seen Trump make any statement that at all sounds like he wants war with Russia. I'm not going to speculation on possible vendettas against governments that no longer exist.

Serious question. Why does the term xenophobic offend you? Phobic simply means fear and you are clearly afraid of open immigration.

you do get that i followed ron for decades and worked to be his delegate? smh.... i know he had his reasons but i disagree with him on some aspects. he isnt perfect... none of them are. im also against the war on drugs but if i were president i'd go hard against meth. it is destroying whole communities... i will never condone its legalization. part of my strong feelings on illegal immigration has to do with the meth trade coming into this country and destroying families. the precursors come from the far east to mexican labs and then the cartels smuggle it in.

what i am strongly against is using the war on drugs to seize property of landlords that have nothing to do with drug dealing.

It's not that he wants war with Russia, but he would be attacking Chinas economy making them "pay" with Tariffs and they are kind of allied. This is the logical conclusion to Trump, he wants to interfere and take control of oil, which is how Russia pays the bills.

its a term that is misused often... and its purpose is to shut people up from talking about real problems.

You get that Trump followed democrats for decades, if we have to take his change of heart seriously then we must assume that you fully disavowed being a Ron Paul republican because thats only fair.

you may not like it but trump was honest about his support of the clintons and all of the other candidates he gave money to... he was playing the game. he is very candid about this and explains that he will owe no one favors if elected. who else can say that? none of them.. they are all bought and paid for... trump knows first hand.. he bought some of them.

if i could single handily put ron or rand into office right now i would do so in a nano second. how can you not get that? but correct me if i am wrong... i dont see either running for office? did i miss something? given the choices we have ....its trump and hoping he is serious about his current positions or voting for the other scumbags that we all know will continue the globalists' agendas.

what i have noticed is no one on this board has any solutions other than to just bash trump. smh.. you people crack me up.

He is very candid but everyone that's ever met him in real life claims he is a completely different person, he is playing a role on tv. You don't understand it, but let me explain it anyways. Trump is an entertainer, he is basically playing the character from the Colbert Report- that's why his positions are completely different now. He is a progressive democrat, who pretends to be a conservative. He does talk about issues though, but he has no clue what he is saying. Whether its the foreign or domestic policy he is just reciting lines. He takes populist policies like immigration reform and defense, and says that he will fix them without paying for them.

If you press him on how he is going to pay for it he even says he is going to pay for it the same way the democrats do. He says he is going to fix jobs by getting rid of mexicans(thats not going to bring factory jobs back here) he says he is going to fix the economy by putting tarrifs on china(thats just going to make us buy less stuff from them). He says he is going to keep us safe from terrorists by controlling oil in the middle east and containing them, that's what we are doing now and its not magically any different. Why do you think Russia is so pissed off at us.
