Then of course gets lambasted all over the place for it for being against the children! Im talking about the bill that would have expanded mandatory health insurance coverage for children.

Bush sucks, is a neocon, etc etc. He has done a few things right though, at least sort of right (the whole system needs to be overhauled, of course). But i think pat buchanan was right, at least hes decent on a few issues. Hillary will easily be worse than GWB, and i say that as someone who thinks Bush has thus far been one of the 5 worst presidents of all time.

Bush did the right thing for the wrong reasons. No one but Republicans could have gotten away with what Bush has done. Imagine Clinton doing everything Bush has. They needed Bush to do what he's done.

This is a setup. It makes it look like Bush doesn't care about children. One of their big agenda items is nationalized health care -- much potential for profit, power and control of people.

They're setting it up so that Hillary can push through her health care plan. All the things that have happened int the last 6 1/2 years required a Republican. All the things they have planned for the next 8 years require a Democrat (and of course no one will be able to get to the "right" of Hillary on the WoT or "security". The US sheep have been primed for and will accept endless wars and erosion of civil liberties more easily from a Democrat than they would have in 1998.

I couldn't believe all the kids walking down the street in their purple SCHIP shirts holding signs that say NO VETO and everything. I think introducing children to socialism and getting them brainwashed about it before they're introduced to alternatives is so wrong and downright dirty.

I'm glad Bush did something right for once. I can only hope that he'll continue to try to save face on domestic issues like this.

Also, my congresswoman is a total Hillary clone. What are the chances of her voting against the veto override?

A record debt, record spending, and a record low in the dollar index ... not exactly the hallmarks of fiscal conservatism.

Frankly, I think it would be humerous to ask the man to define the word "fiscal" and watch him fumble around like when he was asked to define "sovereignty."

The fight will take place in the House. We have Melissa Bean, but she's all about the children. There's no reason for me to even bother calling her. But I probably will anyway.

YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD. Another poster said they are all in this together, correct. The powers that be, the bankgsters/ruling elite families, have planned this out. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton. It's a play put on to deceive the sheeple. As a thought, how many RP supporters think the socialist minded dems will NOT end up supporting Hillary the war candidate? I say very few and probably NONE. The ones that are against the war and are currently criticizing Hillary....will still vote for her with the Dem nomination. They will have to bite their tongue, but will still vote for her and switch to fully support her. The socialist mindset has been so engrained, that they won't vote for the person who really wants to immediately withdraw the troops and end the war.

RP is really an obstacle and thorn in the side of these elite numbskulls.
