Pat's new book: http://drudgereport.com/flash9pb.htm

Although Ron Paul's positions align perfectly with Buchanan's concerns regarding the end of America, Buchanan either doesn't endorse him or has not heard of Ron Paul.

ALAN COLMES, CO-HOST: Mr. Buchanan. So who does Brother Buchanan support for president?

BUCHANAN: I don't support any of them.

Let me say this. On the issue of trade I think Duncan Hunter is right there. I think he is the best one for the Republican Party .

COLMES: Who do you support that could win?

BUCHANAN: Look, I can't vote for Barack Obama or your candidate Mrs. Clinton, so...

COLMES: She's not my candidate. I like all those people on the Democratic side, but who could you vote for on the right?

BUCHANAN: When it gets down to it, it gets down to probably who's going to name justices to the Supreme Court? That's one primary consideration and secondly who's going to manage our foreign policy to keep us out of unnecessary wars?

COLMES: And the answer is?

BUCHANAN: And the answer is, probably going to be the Republican nominee, but we'll have to wait and see.

Buchanan is my second favorite politician. He also agrees with Ron Paul on foreign policy, he just can't come out and give an endorsement because he's supposed to be unbiased when MSNBC interviews him.

I hate that. Buchanan has Paul all over his site yet won't come out and endorse him. BS.

These themes are not new for Buchanan. He basically said all the same things in "Where the Right Went Wrong." This appears to be an update. I'm excited to see it again, because Buchanan is my favorite politician.

Did you ever think his endorsement could hurt Paul more than help him?

You did see how badly he was smeared on his last go round for president, right?

Same here. I was lucky enough to read the book already, and I can tell you it's very good. I consider "Death of the West" as his best book, and probably the best political book I've read.

Day of Reckoning is right up there. I think it was better than state of emergency, and where the right went wrong.

Actually, on Cspan Pat Buchanan was asked directly if he would endorse Ron Paul.

To paraphrase, he does really like Ron Paul, but can't officially endorse him because it would hurt his reputation as a political analyst for this election. That is the same reason why just about anyone who is covering the election can't officially endorse Paul, or anyone else.

But Pat is definitely on Paul's side, I don't doubt him.

He can't endorse him, he's under contract.
He likes him the best though, Ducan and Tancredo too but they are for the war and he is against so obviously I think he likes Paul more cause he is talking more on the issues of the book.
