Bryan is the new proud property owner of what is known as RPF/LF

Bryan, have you considered created an all-new Rand Paul Forums with the domain name you now own? (In addition to keeping this forum of course)

Yes but subforums aren't really going to be active like a forum on there own. Anyways it was just a thought.

Josh, honeychilde... by luck or chance
are you humouring the idea of running
for public office? I am posting this and
I am trying not to quote something pithy
that was once said by Edmund Burke in
his address to the electors of Bristol! if
you do luck into things, public office has
its demands. I'm gonna miss the good ole
days when Bryan and you were a great
team, but if both of you gain experience
points from Lady Luck and life from this,
then things will go forth as they ought to
in 2014 and 2016. I am in very appreciative
mood and am at a loss for words. I cannot
express in mere words what these forums
have brought forth. Good Luck & keep posting!

Dividing and diluting the userbase and activity is not a good idea. Besides, there's symbolism to having Rand's forum under RON Paul Forums...

Thank you, everyone.

For the record, yes, I am in complete support of Thomas Massie (even if I disagree with a significant vote of his- but that's for another discussion)

Providing "optimal" support for Rand Paul Forums is a major concern of mine, and I'm not sure what the best route is since it will depend on unknowns of SEO issues, being inclusive of Rand-not-Ron supports and diluting the user base. For certain, if/when Rand runs for POTUS in 2016 there will be an expansion with more than one forum, as we have done with Ron Paul. More on this later, in anther discussion topic.

Again, thank you. :)

Probably a good idea to put sub-forums under Rand's section for grassroots organizing and try and make links to other parts of the forum (like liberty candidates, or general politics) so people can navigate around and check more of the place out as I imagine there will be a lot more traffic and people signing up whenever Rand announces

Look forward to that discussion. There will be a need for a Rand Paul Forum that is as inclusive as possible. A place to attract new supporters.

Brian4Liberty has made a telling point.
RAND's FORUM(s) are trying to tap the
better qualities inside the GOP of the
current hour so that Rand will eventually
be a standard bearer or on a happy ticket.
There are people who are Civil Libertarians
who are upset about how BHO improved
on the "W" and his quasi-fascist police state
apparatus that is trying to go SKYnet in a
very sci-fi manner, and there are libertarians
who despise the lobby tactics of big money
and the velvet gloved steel fist of big gov't.
i am not even going into anarchic-capitalism
verses the GOP fatcats and how things may
go. we need a nuanced approach to admin.

Well I am late to the party but thanks a bunch to Josh, Bryan and anyone else who was involved in making this site possible. And to all the great minds that post up here as well, you all rock!

Forgive me if I don't fall over myself sucking ass. The people that post here are responsible for "it's existence" the person that 'owns' the name is irrelevant.

You clearly have never administrated or moderated a forum. :)

Oh, I think one for Rand would be. Because if done right, it could attract people who perhaps do not fit on RPFs, but share a lot of common principles with both Ron and Rand. Interestingly, these people vote in the Republican primary.

Welcome Bryan!

and...
Fare ye well, Josh - but I'm sure we've not seen the last of you either!

Bryan, thanks for all your hard work and commitment in making improvements to the site and trying to make this place the best it can be moving forward.

Josh, thanks for creating this very special community of liberty-minded people that has helped change the course of history!

Out of curiosity, does Rand ever visit here? I've certainly never seen a post and a couple of years ago he stated on DP that he reads DP and never comes to Ron Paul Forums. That could have changed since he got his own forum here.

For that matter, has Ron? I know a staff member of his used to and that he's aware of and thankful for us. But has he ever been on the site?

Thank you and may your future endeavors bring you rewarding challenges and much gratification.
