Brokered Convention and how to still get to it

An Act of God has derailed many a well planned enterprise. It is why almost every contract has a Force Majeure section in it abrogating the entire obligations under the contract should an Act of God befall it during ongoing execution of contractual duties and obligations.

Santorum dropping out was an act of God; it was mainly because Bella is sick again.

and seeing the photos of Obama on drudge today it looks like he has cancer, esp considering his family and lifestyle history

Ron Paul should stay in the race until it is mathematically impossible for him to win. This means calculations based on bound delegates. Once and if this happens, then Ron Paul should run as a third party candidate. The grassroots organization is strong in every state and should be able to get him on the ballot (how is this done and what are the deadlines?).

Regardless, the grassroots needs to unite in a national campaign. If we continue to act as 50 separate states, we are not going to win. Ideally we select a national coordinator here with some assistants, some statistical and strategical persons to help determine a game plan, determine what states to focus on, etc. I would wait until it becomes mathematically impossible but Ron Paul could win a third party bid.

Undoubtably true. A particular act that springs to mind would be if the media were to publish indisputable proof of vote flipping. If that went viral (or to the media) Romney could not win. Heck, even if he had the required amount of delegates he'd probably still lose- everyone would be calling for his head.

I think the key thing people are missing is that most of the MSM...and consequently most of the public, thinks the race is over.

Take the Wall Street Journal for example

This time last month, every day, there would be an article about Santorum vs Romney and who had the upper hand in the nomination battle. Now....its all Romney vs Obama. Why? Because people think the race is over. I have not seen anything about the republican race other than a few articles on 'romney getting close to winning it'.

Thats just the sad truth. Romney will spend his time now attacking Obama, the media will pick up on it. Ron will continue to do his thing and the Revolution rolls on

Thank you! Someone in this thread asked the question "Won't the media have to pay Ron Paul more attention with Santorum out?"

Why would #PropagandistMedia have to do their job now? They don't and won't.

For the next week or so #PropagandistMedia will spin the story like this "All but certain now that Romney is the nominee." After that then they will just talk about Romney and Obama. If Ron Paul shows some traction in the polls then the negative stories will start again.

Or something along these lines.

I wonder why the stock market has dropped so much in the past few days. is it related to this? supposedly the stock market is 6 months ahead of main street, which puts a crash late Sept/early Oct
