Is the debate itself going to be available online live? My local ABC station doesn't start broadcasting until 9:00 Central. I'm not sure if that means they won't broadcast the first hour or if they'll broadcast the whole debate an hour later.

It will probably be on delay in your market. They will show the whole thing on TV.

I still can't believe they're showing it so early. And on the channel schedule it's called "This Week With George Stephanopoulos"--it doesn't say anything about the debate. How disappointing.... I wonder why they're so evasive.

I have a feeling it will not be a debate at all, just a forum asking everyone questions...wait...I guess by today's standards that IS debate...how lame!

It will be a debate. They are planning on having a "User Generated Content" section similiar to the YouTube thing. Doesn't matter though, there is no way anybody will shine next to Giulian. He just overshadows the whole crowd lately. Top that all off with the fact that Hillary owned everyone at the last Dem. debate and they might as well just move this debate to 1am due to lack of people caring.

Hello everyone from the "spin room" in Des Moines, IA! The place is rather dull right now. Some camera crews setting up, but mostly it's very empty.

The room is set up in a college auditorium with stadium seats facing a large stage. All the candidates and large media outlets are assigned a space on the stage. Of course, they have Dr. Paul as far right as they can without pushing him off the stage.

I'm rather surprised at how small the room is though. It will be a tight fit once the room is filled. Nevertheless, I'll be broadcasting live from our Justin.tv video feed. I'm still unsure exactly what time I will start. If the room is still dead and inactive at 9am CT, I will hold off until right before the debate is over (10:30am CT) to broadcast, so I can conserve battery power.

I'll try my best to post updates to the forum, but no guarantees.

Keep spreading the word about this live broadcast. This is ground breaking. We've never tried this before, and I had to do a lot of convincing to make it happen. So if you enjoy what you see, and more importantly, want to celebrate of Dr. Paul's success in the debate please make a donation. Use the project code "ABC123" when you make your contribution.
