BREAKING: Supreme Court rules DNA Can be Taken upon Arrest

I just came from a coffee shop where I had the most frustrating conversation Ive had in a long time about this very ruling.
Some long time friends think this is acceptable and fine, their reasoning is that its just like taking fingerprints.

Im at a total loss, I just didn't even know what to say to them.

ETA: NVM, I posted before I read the rest of the thread. I am surprised some do-gooder 'law and order' type hasn't offered up a bill to catalogue the DNA in CODIS. Unfortunately I have no faith in the Supreme Court's ruling on such a bill and even less faith in the American populus giving one measly fuck.

Seat belt and DUI checkpoints, police dogs being led around your vehicle... they are pretty much worthless. Simply ruling from unconstitutional precedent to later deem unconstitutionality 'Constitutional' on account of their earlier ruled precedents.

I have no doubts.

I see it too clearly.. and it's too easy a path for them not to take.

People are predictable. It is not a stretch of the imagination for me to see a global one world currency (and government) as the people clap and cheer, lining the streets. Given the right catalyst, people will be begging for as much.

Then, the fun will start.

I am not sure what to think on whether it is a religious prophecy coming to bear or simply the manifestation of greed and wickedry.

The SCROTUS of the United States surely isn't going to protect anyone.
