It looks like we need to purchase about 300 copies everyday in order to keep it in the top 10 consistently. #1 requires 10,000 purchases every day.

Though I am not certain, it seems possible to "cheat" the system by canceling and re-ordering en mass in April to give it another boost in ranking at that time, like someone mentioned earlier.

I recommend against this. Amazon will not take kindly to gaming their system.

They already have some anti-gaming mechanisms in place due to earlier attempts. For example, the rating is also dependent upon PREVIOUS sales - a title that shows consistent sales stays higher in the rankings, longer. If you remove early sales (by canceling and reordering) you are eliminating the foundation upon which its current standing rests.

The key is continuous support by buying copies. Want to see it rise in the ranks? Buy another copy for your friend.

His book does not even show up in a search. Under non-fiction/Political..The Communist Manifesto is out selling Dr. Paul's book.
 
The # of pledges seems to have died down over the past few days. Pre Order your book now!
 
Yah, if we are going to get on the NYTimes best seller list we are going to have to find at least a million people willing to buy this book. I'm not even sure if we have received a million votes yet this election, but this is very essential for the momentum of this book and the message that it's presenting.
