Breaking News: Kelly Clarkson endorses Ron Paul!

This is what she said on Facebook after being attacked for her pro-Ron Paul tweet. She's not apologizing for what she said, she's justifiably pissed that certain people are directing so much hatred at anyone who dares say anything nice about RP.

I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't.

I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women's rights, men's rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he's my favorite.

Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y'all ever disagree with something I say please don't feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you. I was raised to respect people and their decisions and beliefs and I hope you will grant me the same decency. If you don't agree with me simply unfollow me. It's really that easy. I hope you don't because I would love the chance to hear what you have to say but if you're so blinded by hate you can't seek peace and progress then that is your unfortunate prerogative.

Honestly, I didn't care for her before, not because of her singing, she sings great, but because of the message in one of her songs kind of turned me off, the "Mr. no it all" song. But now I will be buying that song thinking she is calling the media "Mr. no it all!" :D
 
Didn't read all 305 posts here, but it sounds like the Hate Machine got turned on her pretty hard for her position. Someone should send her the new Ad for everyone talking about the newsletters.

We had a drunk, doped up John Mayer ranting about Ron Paul and people got giddy over that 4 years ago

Kelly Clarkson obviously isnt informed if she needs to question whether Paul is a racist or needs to ask about it.

There's a reason why most of these knuckleheads never went to college

Good for her if and i hope she gets voters our way but lets get real, this means nothing! Celebrities dont get people out to vote. They bring "excitement" and "buzz" to an already successful campaign.

We're looking for people who are willing to perform for Ron Paul for money. When the person goes out there and says that, it makes us say "that might be a live one".

It's unlikely that if Ron Paul wanted to use a Kelly Clarkson or a Michelle Branch song as his theme song, they would threated to sue him or sue him. That has happened before to other candidates.

We don't really care how informed Kelly Clarkson is. Michele Bachmann is said to have won Ames in August why? Why do we say Bachmann won in August? Who do we have? I'd like to see Clarkson, Branch in Iowa on January 3.

Yeaw it is guys like this that ARE giving RP a bad reputation. He has a racist mind and when people like him run around supporting RP it is RP that takes the flack for being a racist..
 
Use a little brains here, guys. Don't stalk her and expect her to change her schedule and suddenly be doing benefits for Dr. Paul. Thank her for her nice comment, defend her... but don't try to turn a one-night stand into a relationship. That's up to her. She'll call you if she's interested, MK?
