Well, the thing is, our government has already taken a side, and all we can do is criticize. How many Americans are duped into this war on terror bullshit our politicians have been spinning for so many years? And, you know, Israel is a big part of it, just look over some recent Bush quotes on the current >invasion< to sum it up (and you know Bush and Olmert are ideological butt buddies).
I'm saying that, if our tax dollars are going to support a tyrannical foreign government, why can't we tax payers criticize this support, at least in this particular predicament? In fact, I think criticism is a healthy party of discourse (as long as it doesn't turn into ranting and raving). So, critique on!
Imagine, if we were a truly free nation, and our government were kept at a bare minimum, and our country were very successful (and not because we were floating on financial bubbles provided by Bernanke and co) economically and socially, we could use our success as reasoning for those who live in nations less free and stable... You know, open eyes with arguments against bloated and disloyal governments that do not serve the people. So, nothing wrong with criticizing with words, just that part where you're criticizing with bombs and bullets. Brah
