I never could understand why they flew nukes from the Dakotas to Barksdale. When I was at Barksdale in the 80's we had shitloads in the storage area. I was an SP from 82-88, there is no possible way it was a mistake. It just has soooooo many safeguards. Never been to Barksdale nor the Dakotas, but as a (former) BISS guy turned contractor, I have reason to believe there's more than enough at either location to uh.......level any issues....
