I wonder about that myself. Two individuals willing to kill multiple individuals simply let the victim of a car jacking walk even though they knew he would report it. Kinda strange.

They apparently told the victim that they did the bombings, which kinda raised a flag for me.

I followed that live via the Boston police scanner. It was quite amazing. They had IEDs with them and were throwing them at the police during the car chase. Firing with long guns too.

Actually the guy who dead had some sort of IED attached to his chest that he detonated during the shoot-out/capture.

Suspicious of what? In the scanner they never mentioned the carjack victim was held hostage, but I only started listening when they were already chasing the Mercedes.

Either he detonated it himself or it exploded when he was shot. They were very worried about the possibility that White Hat guy was carrying a "suicide vest" when they were chasing him. And there were IEDs all over the place.

Hence the "naked guy" arrest. They made him strip down before arresting him (it turned out the guy was just walking around).

That wasn't from an explosive. They said they were trying to save his life with the cut but I have seen autopsy photos with the same cuts. (on both sides)

It does look like he was ran over. Whether that was from his brother or the police.

Someone posted the coroner corpse picture of the first picture (dont know if real) and the corpse had a large gash of his chest. not sure if its related to some kinda explosiion.. doesnt look like it.

The skin around that large hole was yellow, sorta like what iodine looks like that they apply before making an incision. But loose skin looks yellowish as well.

Yeah, I heard he had an explosive vest on but I would doubt it detonated just with how clean the cut looked. (maybe a scapel?) If a bomb blew up on his chest the photo would have been a lot worse. The autopsy photos of other people I've seen, show the same cut. (on both sides) I don't know though, I think there was a report that the cut was because of them trying to save him.

Suspicious that the "Mercedes driver" was an accomplice and provided the vehicle for a getaway, or more ominously, in the course of an "extraction."

Well, a bullet didn't make that kind of gash in his chest. A large fragment could have if it carried enough momentum to make a clean gash.
