It is tragic, and to a certain extent, I blame the cops who stood there while it happened, despite how much the Police Chief praises them. Policy and procedure was followed. Excellent work.

They are often legit but sometimes they are much too loose with what they post up there.
Their bias is also really in your face.

It simply indicates that the algorithm was driven to scrape the site on October 28th because that's when the story broke, and all the resulting traffic induced it to be scraped. The lack of traffic previously is why it was not scraped.
