I want to find a good historicaly accurate book on our early days and foundation.

Topics including:
The Constitution
Liberty minded founding fathers (bios)
The American Revolution

You get the idea...any suggestions? Thanks.

edit: I just watched "John Adams" the HBO miniseries based on David Mccullough's book. Although it wasn't completely historically accurate, it was a good drama.

I like the set of history books by Clarence Carson. Each one covers a span of time, starting with prior to the country's founding. Subsequent volumes at least were put out every few years, to update for the current time period. None of these books are very long and they are easy to read. Note: The author died in 2003.

As far as the Constitution is concerned, this is the book that Ron Paul has said he refers to often:

In fact, go scroll through the bookstore, here. They carry a number of good books about the things you mention:

Also I apologize, I just saw the stickied thread with a list of must reads.

Please continue with suggestions though, as these are maybe more specific.

This book doesn't fit what your looking for ... but is a good one from a "freedom living" perspective. It's very helpful for anybody interested in starting to mill their own flour.

Mod please move this thread to Liberty Books.
