Bold prediction: Paul will be on the ticket in 2012

as long as the polls aren't rigged and we keep working hard! we also need a backup plan. This election is about more than just the president we want, it's about avoiding disaster.

Ron Paul on the ballot? Why yes.

Ron Paul (Republican Party Nominee For President)

Let's make it happen.

Yes,he is going to be on the ticket,on top of it:
Ron Paul/Napolitano.
Or bust.

4-8 years of Ron Paul as President, then Napolitano 8years as President, then Rand Paul 8 years as President-- it may take that long get rid of the national debt and return to a constitutional republic.

I think VP for Napolitano would be perfect,he is known and liked.
There are many constitutionalists to put in the Supreme Court but he,Napolitano, will help the campaign image and would be a strong debater.

Anyway..what a hell is this thread talking about?
I refuse to believe Ron Paul would ever,EVER accept a VP position to legitimize a socialist republicrat like Gingrich or Romney.
It will NEVER happen.

Point of this thread is that if Ron Paul is not nominated, GOP will try to find a way to appease pissed off Ron Paul voters. Offering Rand Paul the V.P. spot would help to get RP voters in line.

Possibility 1: Ron Paul gets the nomination, Rand or other person is VP
Possibility 2: Ron Paul does not get the nomination. Gary Johnson goes LP. Polls show that GJ gets 10% from (R). Rand Paul is chosen as VP to neutralize Johnson

If you want it to happen, then we are going to have to work for it. Phone-from-home, dude. v v v

I got it and I think Ron and Rand are not dumb, they would legitimize them if they did and would never accept such a position under a Romney or a Gingrich.
At least I am absolutey positive about Ron..but i think Rand would not accept it either.

Pointless ,losing idea for the time being anyway:
We are triyng to win for now..and we are so close in Iowa.

Rand would never accept a VP position with Romney or Gingrich...there's no way he would. And yes, he definitely wants to run in 2016. Remember this time, before Ron even announced? They said one of them would run, and it turned out to be Ron. This is Ron's last chance. Starting in 2016 it's Rand...good news is Rand has another 8 elections before they call him too old :) (not that it would take more than the first one before he becomes president though)

There is no way Ron would run with anyone that doesn't have the monetary reform as their priority. Let's face it, that is the most important issue. Without the Fed printing the fake money, we wouldn't be able to finance playing god around the globe.

Also I highly doubt Rand Paul would hop on a NeoCon ticket with the current jokes that support mandates, departments without Constitutional oversight (Romney, Gingrich).

Ron Paul 2012

Neither Ron nor Rand will accept a VP slot from any of the other candidates.
