Since apathy seems to be a hard thing to come by on these forums, I thought I would inject a pinch of it now.

As far as this whole Barr kerfuffle goes, I just don't care. I don't care who Ron Paul endorses. I don't care who else wants to run for President this year. Bob Barr's campaign has been more than a bit prickly, but I really can't bring myself to care. I don't give a hoot in hell about the presidency.

I have better uses for my time. I'm focusing on local stuff, stuff that matters. Local activism and local participation and local enthusiasm and local liberty. I'm focused on my community, and that's what I care about.

I'm working for liberty in my own damn way, and if y'all want to do the same, feel free. If you just don't give a damn about the drama and gossip and bickering, join me. Come on in, the water's fine.

Makes sense to me! More power to ya! Local activism is more effective (financially and otherwise) anyways.

I concur.

We can only do so much. We can flourish as communities once we can decide as communities how to spend our own money without Washington telling us what to do and stealing it.

The local level is exactly where effort should be going. I couldn't agree more.

I wish I had a little more Yongrel in me. I wish I could find it in myself not to care so much about the top office. Still, the Barr betrayal and the prospect of having to pick Baldwin or Nader really hurts.

I agree yongrel, the presidency was a non issue after Super Tuesday... Here in hays county we have taken the chairmanship of our local GOP and we have a RP endorsed congressional candidate running against a 12 + year democrat incumbant, and our internal polling shows we have a great shot at winning district 25 this November, we also are running a State Representative candidate..

I am excited about the grassroots becoming a force joepfully with the help of CFL..

keep plugging man!
