LOL,,,I was yelling at him during this segment...Beck was saying earlier in the interview that "pulling yourself up by the bootstraps" is what made America the greatest country but when talking about Iraq he believes we should 'help' the Iraqi's get their sh*t back together?? :confused: Beck is a very confused individual.
 
Barr looked really good and very comfortable up there. I think the LP made a good choice nominating a former congressman who does well in interviews.
 
Not my type of candidate, but I think supporting him into the debates is the best move to continue the revolution through the fall.

Unfortunately, going forward, any candidate who is not Ron Paul is going to be a compromise.

+1. He does interview extremely well. Better than Obama, Clinton, or McCain, for that matter.

I really liked this. Bob Barr did a really good job. However, Beck kept trying to pigeon-hole him into shaking off segments of the population. Barr did a good job of distancing himself from the 9/11 Truthers.

However, Glenn Beck managed to slime Libertarians for their support of legalizing drugs, even going so far as to suggest in a negative way that the guy wanting to legalize pot introduced Bob Barr at the Libertarian Convention. Bob Barr missed a great opportunity to defend at least legalizing pot, if not all drugs. He should have said the same thing he did on Colbert, in my opinion. The viewers yesterday might be left with the impression that Bob Barr agrees with the continuation of the criminalizing drugs.

I agree with Bob Barr on his answer regarding abortion. It is true. And this is consistent with what Ron Paul says. It is an issue of Liberty for all life. Also, the issue of Due Pocess is involved. Of course, a state is more than capable of making legal changes to provide such Due Process to continue the procedure of abortion.

This really is possibly the easiest issue to argue about, Barr should have ruined him (nicely).

He doesn't need to say he wants to give cocaine to little kids. He just needs to say the federal government has better things to do and the states should be left to legislate this on their own. Believe it or not, voters haven't always approved of even pot. But then that is the choice of that particular electorate rather than the heavyhanded tactics of the DEA.
