Thats just part of the game...everyone is going to ask the same questions on their interview like they're the one asking the ground breaking question. He's going to answer the same question 8 bajillion times. This is where he's got to relax and just let the question be asked. If he feels the need to interrupt, do what you would in a debate, have a pen and notepad and write down their quote as they say it so you can address it in context properly.

Dammit, 65, I know you're new here, but drop that s**t. This is how the Press plays the American public. They get you to focus on anything but real issues. It's a soap opera to them. But this ain't no friggin' soap opera! Every time he wins on substance, they turn it to style. It's a lot easier for these mindless drones to criticize someone's style instead of trying to tackle issues. We've already spent too much time talking about this!

I want him to steamroll over the press. Male/female, Right/Left. If they're pushing nonsense, tell 'em to shush. Do NOT let them dictate the terms of the debate!!!

that was a good way to do it. Paul has some quick wit...his response about abortion was really good quick wit.

i dont disagree...but its not something you want to show nationally.

As much as I hate to admit it, even obama, several times waited till after the interviews to say "Next time, let me finish my answer"

EXACTLY!!

I think it is some quantum fucking physics stuff he is doing. I don't see someone talking down to woman, I see someone trying to politely explain to a person what they asked, and politely correcting them when they try to talk over him. In other words, he IS treating them like a child. But that does two things. It sets him up as a calm father type, which a lot of people expect from someone vying for such a position. And, most importantly, it lets the rest of the bad children (press) know that daddy won't tolerate naughty kids trying to run the house.

Anyone that sees or buys into that equating into him talking down to someone is reaching for the moon, and has never been in charge of anything.
