Blogger - where the best place?

I figured this would be the best place to post this. What would be the best free/cheap blogging site? I just decided that I would like to write about my political thoughts, campaigning, etc.

Look into Wordpress.org.

I would suggest that you actually purchase hosting and don't use a "free" service do to some drawbacks, but if you just want to write some thoughts and don't care about turning into something more then a free service is fine. I just think Wordpress is the way to go.

If you choose to pay for hosting, I would still use Wordpress's CMS system. Its simple and has a huge community, is fully customizable and tons of Plug-ins which once you install a few and get the idea of how things work its pretty simple.
