You don't think a big blimp with his name on both sides helps name recognition enough? ;)

We've gotta sneak some more hidden messages in there than just filling people's heads with Ron Paul's name. Might as well associate his name with freedom, since that's at the core of his message and people respond to 'freedom' more than 'liberty'. I'm not sure the general public knows what liberty means.
I talking about when they talk on radio or TV or write it up. The more times his name is mentioned the more it sinks in.

"In todays news Ron Paul's blimp 'Ron Paul One' protested excessive taxation by dumping tea into the harbor..."

For the Ron Paul One phrase they would probably completely leave out the name. It just doesn't roll of the tongue. It also sounds kinda cheesy IMHO.

The idea of the tea party is freedom from taxation. Not liberty from taxation. Tea party aside, Liberty or Freedom is ok with me. It was suggested on another thread that Liberty may associate with Libertarian, which may be a turnoff to some. Freedom, however, is universal. Plus we may get a few votes of people in the clink :)

just read the other thread.. go ahead and change my vote from airforce ron to freedom one.. :)

Wait, just one question? Does this poll have any effect on what the blimp will actually be named? I guess if the blimp organizers don't name, that's what we can still call it on the internet, and at blimp rallies.

The ones with "Liberty" or "Freedom" in them sound too much like brand names for ladies' sanitary products.

I'd just say "Ron Paul Blimp". It's already in use, both by us and by the media. It's straight to the point and describes (in an admittedly mundane way) just what it's about. And trying to change it now might simply be too much work to be worth it.

The Ron Paul Blimp is what it is being called. It gets his name out there better than any name on the list of choices. Ron Paul Blimp is the best name.
