Hi Michael, I'm the one who created the large 60+ page planning thread over at RonPaulForums for the October 19th Black This Out Money Bomb. Here is the thread...

The fact is that this new money bomb is gaining traction and FAST. As of this writing we have 2,700 people attending the Facebook event and over 800 pledges on the main website for the money bomb. It was below 1,000 only four days ago. I made it a point in my thread to make it known that these past money bombs were weaker because we did not do the necessary promotion, as well as the fact that we started promotion way too late. We still have over three weeks to advertise this and every day the amount of pledges are multiplying.
We need more exposure though to really set this thing off. I've been working with Dusman, the creator of the website
www.BlackThisOut.com to make it better. The site is being redesigned as we speak and will have new features. We're even trying to get Tom Woods to make some articles and videos for us to help counter media bias, which is the theme of the money bomb. These will be shared around the internet in order to draw in website hits and more pledges to the money bomb. Here is a concept image of the updated website...

One thing that Dusman created is a pledge banner. People all around the internet can pledge to the money bomb through this banner and it's a very effective way of promoting it. These serious attempts at gaining exposure for a money bomb have been missing since the two big ones in 2007. People are really getting excited for this. Our goal is to raise $6,000,000. With the amount of activity surrounding this event this early on, we have a real chance at achieving this goal for Ron Paul. That's why I wanted to ask you if you'd be willing to help us all out and get this pledge banner into plane view, perhaps at the top of the Daily Paul. I've spoken to the administrator over at RonPaulForums, Bryan and he will be putting up the banner at the top of his website soon. It would really help us start to gain even more momentum going into the 19th if you were to put this pledge banner up also.
I've been told that there are some concerns about the Black This Out Money Bomb distracting from the campaign's 3rd quarter push, but from the large amount of activity I see surrounding this event so far, it seems as though many people are going to promote this thing regardless. So in case that was one of your concerns about putting this banner up right now, I'm not sure waiting to put it up until Oct 1st will do any good. More and more people are finding out about it everyday. I figure it would be best for this money bomb and the overall donation total if we had as long as a promotional period as possible, and that would mean sticking it up as early as possible in order to help it gain some significant momentum. The code to the banner is linked in the thread below. I hope you see the importance of getting this thing up early. If you have any questions for me then just ask. Thanks for any help!
