The price of Bitcoin surpassed $1,000 again on the Mt.Gox exchange, after Zynga Inc. (ZNGA) said it would start accepting the virtual currency for some of its online social games as the digital money becomes more widely used.

250 million a quarter in sales isn't a joke. Profit isn't all that hot but their sales is high. If they can reduce CC fees by using bitcoin they'd notice it.

Accepting bitcoin as payment is a sure hit to online gamers. Zynga just made it right. I suppose it won't be long before major retailers or your local grocery store will accept BTC. Wait, is it possible to receive bitcoins from my farmville neighbors?
