I put in a small buy on coinbase last week and it went through fine, put a small buy in today and my bank declined it for some reason
how long did that take to run through coinbase last time, danno ?

The transaction is immediate and you get locked in at whatever rate you get at that moment, but the btc takes 4-6 days to become available.

Its only 50% off of its highs, but of course it wasn't a bubble by any means.

If it goes down 50% after 100x gains, that isn't really that bad of a 'bubble' in mathematical terms, and just like in the past they don't last long. It settles back down into a price range and then waits to break out again with ~100x gains.
