Disagree. Maher is stuck on the surface appearance and cannot perceive the actual message beneath that, which Rand is not shy about telling. You just have to get past the appearance of battleships and banners and the shock value of striking but meaningless statements. Listen to the actual arguments being presented and they are clearly non-interventionist. Maher stopped at the banners and meaningless statements and such and never managed to look an inch further. Nothing about Rand's foreign policy has changed from day 1, he's just speaking GOP Primary language. Maher doesn't speak the GOP Primary language, so he is ignorant as to what Rand is even saying.

Maher is not paid to get to the heart of the matter. Maher is paid to throw us back in the shallow water before we get too deep.
