Bill Kristol challenges Ron Paul to foreign policy debate!

An amusing way to decline this debate is to remind Kristol that he's not even eligible to vote (as he is refusing to sign the pledge required in Virginia to support the party's nominee no matter what).

I've been listening to Bill Kristol for the last 30 minutes... and I must say Bill Kristol is regularly lying about Ron Paul and Bill comes across as a "kook" who doesn't ever get out of the Beltway to see real America.

Bill Kristol can act as loony and embarassing as he wants, and Ron just being in it would be a bad thing. Kristol has nothing Ron wants, to lose.

Kristol isn't running for president is he? Why should HE debate paul 1:1 ?

I'm sure he doesn't have to hold the hand of any of the other candidates ;)

Lol! No kidding huh?

It's nothing like MSM previously carrying the water for Obama as the "conservatives" pointed out in the '08 race...I'm sure this is legit...

Sheesh.:toady:

Scheuer vs. Kristol might be interesting, but Kristol would get him to concede some things Ron wouldn't concede. As an example, Scheuer praised the extrajudicial assassination of Awlaki. It wouldn't really be a debate between Ron's position and neo-conservatism.
I'm certain that Scheuer would concede that awlaki could have been tried and convicted in absentia first and he would be just as dead.

I like that.

Ron should do it with proceeds going to a good charity. Something for disabled vets, or maybe the USO.

Scott Horton is head and shoulders above all the others. He is THE libertarian foreign policy expert we should send to debate any neo-con.

Debate Ron Paul? That's a non-starter for obvious reasons, including the fact that Ron Paul is running for President and his time is more valuable than to waste it on a non-candidate who hasn't earned his way to the table. I would enjoy seeing Tom Woods debate him though.

Don't worry, Bill Kristol will have his opportunity to debate Ron Paul THROUGH the surging candidate.

Surragote for surragote. Send someone else to do it. But not Dr. Paul. If one of the candidates wants it, that would be different.

It would need to be an actual debate rather than Moderator posed QA like the farce we call "debates" these days.
